Themis Recruit is recruiting a Housing Litigator for a City of London practice recognised for excellence. The role focuses on social housing providers and private landlords, offering a modern, progressive firm culture.

Qualified solicitors with 5+ years PQE will handle a busy housing litigation caseload, including disrepair, possession, EPA and forfeit attempts, with hybrid working (minimum one day in the office).

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE.
• Experience in housing management within a solicitor’s firm or in-house.
• Proven housing litigation caseload management.
• Familiar with case management systems and procedures.
• Strong client care, professionalism and integrity.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Desirable: marketing and networking involvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of housing litigation matters.
• Defend disrepair, possession, EPA claims, ASB, and fraud.
• Advise on landlord/tenant, AST, and leasehold matters; focus on forfeiture.
• Deliver excellent client care and maintain client relationships.
• Participate in marketing and networking to promote services.
• Maintain monthly time recording and billing targets.
• Supervise and mentor secretarial and junior staff.
