Sellick Partnership are working with a well-established housing association to recruit a Housing Litigation Lawyer. The role offers flexibility with home working and employment from Newcastle and/or Leeds offices; attendance is two days per week.

You will join the in-house Legal team to support nationwide housing management matters, specialising in anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches, and related litigation.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with a practising certificate (open to NQ/junior).
• Working knowledge of the civil procedure rules.
• Experience in housing law cases and housing litigation, including anti-social behaviour matters, possession and injunction proceedings.
• Experience of general civil litigation, including rent arrears cases and property disputes.
• Advocacy skills with experience presenting cases in the County Court, including open court hearings.

Responsabilités

• Provide legal support to colleagues nationwide on housing management matters.
• Advise on housing litigation matters and prepare court proceedings and documentation for litigious issues.
• Work as part of the in-house Legal team to support the organisation’s housing portfolio.
