Job summary

Sellick Partnership are supporting a well-established housing association to recruit a Housing Litigation Lawyer to their friendly and collaborative team. The role is permanent with great flexibility and generous home working, plus attendance in Newcastle and/or Leeds offices two days per week.

You will advise on housing litigation matters across the organisation, including anti-social behaviour, prepare court proceedings, and support colleagues nationwide in litigious issues.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with a practising certificate (open to NQ/junior).
• Experience in housing litigation matters, including anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches.
• Advocacy skills with County Court experience, including open court hearings.
• Experience of general civil litigation, including rent arrears and property disputes.

Responsibilities

• Advise on housing litigation matters and provide legal support to colleagues nationwide.
• Prepare court proceedings and documentation for litigious issues.
• Represent the organisation in relevant proceedings and provide timely legal guidance.
