Job summary

The WCA Functional Assessor role involves carrying out 5 client assessments per day — by telephone, video, or face-to-face — to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects work-related activity. You will gather information and produce a factual report to assist the DWP in its decision.

Excellent starting salary of £42,000pa with Monday to Friday hours, full-time or part-time options (3–5 days/week).

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Competent IT and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 5 client assessments per day via telephone, video or face-to-face.
• Ask questions and listen to experiences to understand impact on work-related activity.
• Produce a factual report to help the DWP determine eligibility for benefits.
