AccelerComm Ltd. is seeking a Hardware Design Manager in Southampton to lead and grow our RTL development organisation. You will shape the technology roadmap, drive modern engineering practices, and build an environment where engineers can excel.

The role combines technical leadership, people management and delivery excellence across multiple locations. You will drive AI-assisted development and introduce new tooling to accelerate delivery while ensuring high quality hardware products and robust

Qualifications

Proven track record leading digital hardware design teams.
Strong experience in ASIC/FPGA development, including RTL design and verification.
Ability to balance technical leadership, organisational development and project delivery.
Experience recruiting, developing and retaining high-performing engineering teams.
Solid understanding of hardware development methodologies, design flows and best practices.
Leads by developing people, improving organisations and enabling others to succeed.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a growing RTL design organisation delivering advanced ASIC and FPGA technology.
Build the engineering capability, processes and culture needed to support rapid growth.
Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to improve productivity and delivery speed.
Manage and develop teams across multiple locations.
Work closely with architects, project managers and senior stakeholders to deliver ambitious product roadmaps.
Take responsibility for the quality, performance and successful delivery of hardware products.
