Job summary

Vertage in London is seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead the Group consolidation and financial reporting. This hybrid role requires strong IFRS knowledge and experience overseeing external audits, with collaboration across regional finance teams and senior management to ensure robust control and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification is essential.
• Significant post-qualification experience within Group Finance, Financial Control or External Audit.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and experience leading Group consolidations in a multinational environment.
• Experience managing external audits and statutory reporting processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual Group consolidation process.
• Ensure consolidated financial statements are accurate and delivered on time.
• Review consolidation adjustments, elimination entries and foreign exchange impacts.
• Oversee Group balance sheet, cash flow and equity reporting.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors and manage audit planning.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and business initiatives.
