Job summary

Liverpool John Moores University Students' Union (JMSU) is seeking a Graphic Design Coordinator to lead design across campaigns, events and student experiences.

You will create engaging digital and print visuals, develop concepts with colleagues and ensure consistent application of JMSU's brand identity, while coordinating print suppliers and supporting motion graphics or video content where needed.

Qualifications

• Sound experience of digital and print design with a portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop or comparable tools.
• Understanding of layout, typography and visual hierarchy.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, accessible designs for campaigns, events and services.
• Develop concepts and visual solutions with colleagues to bring campaigns to life.
• Take projects from brief to completion, balancing priorities and deadlines.
• Apply the JMSU visual identity consistently and support brand use.
• Create/adapt artwork for digital and print formats, including motion graphics/video.
• Coordinate print suppliers to deliver quality materials within budgets.
• Use feedback and audience insights to improve connections with students.
