Apprentify is seeking a Graduate Business Development Executive in Manchester with hybrid working. You will start with a strong onboarding and structured training to develop essential sales and business development skills, focusing on generating new business opportunities and supporting the sales team.

You will research potential customers, engage decision-makers, and qualify opportunities while developing communication, negotiation and commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or business development is welcomed but not required.
• Ability to research and identify prospective customers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with CRM systems and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Research prospective customers using phone, email and LinkedIn.
• Engage with prospective clients and introduce products or services.
• Speak with business owners, managers and senior decision‑makers.
• Qualify prospects and identify genuine business opportunities.
• Arrange qualified meetings and appointments for the wider sales team.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with prospects.
• Understand customer requirements and identify potential solutions.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and activity data.
• Work with experienced sales professionals to develop commercial skills.
• Participate in regular sales training and development sessions.
• Aim to exceed activity and performance targets.
• Develop toward managing your own opportunities and progressing into senior roles.
