Job summary

Ashdown Group is seeking a Graduate Accountant to join the finance team in a hybrid role (2 days remote, 3 days in the office). You will support monthly management accounts, journals, accruals and reconciliations, while helping with budgeting and cash flow analyses.

Qualifications

• Pursuing CIMA or ACCA with study support provided.
• Experience in management accounting and month-end processes.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to explain financial information to non-finance staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and assist with month-end close.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections; conduct variance analysis.
• Process purchase invoices and supplier payments; maintain the purchase ledger.
• Liaise with suppliers, assist with VAT returns, and keep accurate financial records.
