Job summary

Inspired Thinking Group is seeking a Financial Controller to lead financial control for the Group’s Technology business, ensuring a clean month-end close, consolidated reporting and rigorous balance-sheet integrity across UK and Netherlands entities.

You will coordinate Dutch statutory accounts, VAT and ICP with an external firm, oversee intercompany processes and provide insightful management commentary for quarterly forecasts and the annual plan.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience in financial control.
• Proven controller experience across international entities.
• Strong grounding in month-end close, balance-sheet control and consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close, journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Maintain balance-sheet integrity and intercompany reconciliations.
• Coordinate Dutch statutory accounts, VAT and ICP submissions with external firm.
• Lead reporting, budgeting and variance analysis for multiple entities.
• Line-manage accounting teams in the UK and Netherlands and drive process improvements.
• Support automation, tender FP&A work and transition to Shared Services.
