Job summary

Youngs Employment Services in London is seeking a Senior Data Architect to own and evolve the data architecture for commercial data across the UK, US and Europe. You will define common data entities, and data contracts across sources, and architect data products for pricing, revenue, marketing measurement, and forecasting.

The role requires strong data architecture, cloud platform experience (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP), and hands-on SQL/Python/dbt for transformations.

Qualifications

• Strong data architecture experience in a commercial environment.
• Excellent data modelling skills (dimensional & event-based).
• Experience with Snowflake, AWS and modern cloud platforms.
• Hands-on SQL, Python and dbt for transformations.
• Experience with analytics data at scale and privacy/security by design.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve target data architecture for commercial data across UK/US/Europe.
• Define common data entities, definitions, hierarchies, keys and data contracts.
• Architect data products to support pricing, revenue, marketing measurement, forecasting.
• Design data models linking behaviour, investments, sales and performance.
• Embed privacy, security, consent, retention and cross-border requirements from the start.
• Define how analytics, ML, AI services, and agents access structured data safely and consistently.
• Produce data models, flows, lineage, architecture decisions, and reusable patterns.
• Review designs, challenge where needed, and represent Data in cross-team forums.
• Set standards, produce architecture documentation, and provide assurance before engineering delivery.
