Job summary

Tiro Partners invites applications for a Data Architect role in London, offering a hybrid setup with three days in the office. You will design and evolve data architectures for AI products, ensuring scalable and secure data pipelines and governance across multiple enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in data architecture/engineering, strong SQL/Python, and hands-on experience with Azure cloud, data modelling, ETL/ELT, data warehouses and data lakes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in Data Architecture or Data Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, ETL/ELT, data warehouses and data lakes/lakehouses.
• Experience with APIs, integrations and enterprise systems.
• Cloud experience, ideally Azure.
• Strong SQL and Python knowledge.
• Understanding of data governance, security, privacy and data quality.
• Experience supporting data requirements for AI/ML applications.
• Comfortable working hands-on with engineers and making pragmatic architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve data and technical architecture across AI products.
• Define how applications, data, APIs, models and enterprise systems connect.
• Design data models, pipelines, storage and governance frameworks.
• Build reusable data capabilities, services and technical components.
• Set standards across APIs, integration, deployment and observability.
• Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, security and data teams.
• Help ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure and maintainable.
