Job summary

Safran Actuation Systems UK in Wolverhampton is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead information security across multiple sites, ensuring regulatory and internal compliance.

Reporting to the group CISO, you will drive incident response, risk management, governance and security training, with travel across the UK and international sites.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in information security within regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks, governance and compliance (ITAR, export control).
• Experience handling security incidents, risk management and audits.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across IT, engineering and operations.
• Strong communication skills and security awareness training.
• Familiarity with industrial/manufacturing operations security.
• Experience in global, matrix organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead security and accreditation of information systems across sites.
• Advise IT and business teams on secure-by-design principles.
• Drive compliance with Safran ISS policy, NCSC CAF, ITAR, export controls and IGI 1300.
• Manage security alerts/incidents with SOC/CERT teams.
• Support industrial/operational teams in securing critical environments.
• Audit and monitor adherence to security policies and procedures.
• Deliver security awareness training and promote a security culture.
• Serve as main contact for authorities on information security.
• Contribute to evolving security processes and governance.
