Job summary

Safran Actuation Systems UK is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead information security across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with ITAR, export controls and internal security frameworks. You will report to the Safran Electronics & Defence CISO in a global matrix environment, acting as the key point of contact for security matters.

• Proven experience leading information security in complex, regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks, governance, and compliance.
• Experience handling security incidents, risk management and audits.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across IT, engineering and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead security across all sites and accreditation of information systems.
• Support IT and business teams with secure-by-design principles.
• Drive compliance with ITAR, export controls and IGI 1300.
• Manage security alerts, incidents and work with SOC/CERT teams.
