Job summary

Vertical Advantage is helping a well established national charity in Reading to recruit a brilliantly organised Sales Coordinator to join their Fundraising team. You will provide high-quality administrative and operational support, freeing the Sales team to focus on income generation and supporter engagement.

The role sits in a busy, fast-paced team that raises millions each year, with hybrid working (minimum 2 days in the office).

Qualifications

• Excellent organisation and prioritisation across deadlines and workstreams.
• Clear, professional communication with supporters and colleagues.
• High attention to detail for bookings, payments and records.
• Warm, problem-solving approach to customer service.
• Collaborative team player across functions.
• Understanding of data confidentiality and internal processes.
• Initiative to resolve simple issues and judge when to escalate.
• Comfortable using a CRM or booking system.

Responsibilities

• Manage event bookings, changes and confirmations.
• Own award-point administration and reporting.
• Support Head of Sales with weekly sales reporting.
• Chase and add purchase orders to the CRM.
• Coordinate fundraising committee meetings, attendance and slides.
• Manage shared inbox and handle supporter enquiries.
• Support with raffle prizes and delivery of auction prizes.
• Chase event re-bookers and update donations on the CRM.
• Assist with aged debt and finance queries.
• Support wider Sales team with account-led enquiries.
