Job summary

OCR Alpha is seeking a Fund Controller in its London team to oversee valuation and financial control across multiple credit strategies. The role offers close interaction with investment teams, Operations, Risk and external service providers, and a pathway to influence pricing, models and portfolio activity.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fund control, product control, valuations or fund accounting, within hedge funds or asset managers, with a deep understanding of credit

Qualifications

• Experience across fund control, product control, valuations or fund accounting within hedge funds, asset managers or similar.
• Strong understanding of credit products such as corporate credit, loans, structured credit, private credit, distressed debt or credit derivatives.

Responsibilities

• Own fund control and valuation processes across credit portfolios.
• Review NAVs, month-end close and fund accounting outputs.
• Challenge pricing, valuation movements and model inputs.
• Collaborate with investment teams to understand portfolio activity and valuation drivers.
• Support new strategies, fund launches and process improvements.
