Job summary

Software Group in London is seeking a software engineer for a maternity leave cover role on a hybrid basis. You will work across a dual-stack C# and TypeScript backend, implementing microfrontends and owning features from design to production.

You will collaborate with product teams, engage customers to understand problems, and shape architecture for scalable, event-driven systems on AWS while exploring AI-assisted coding techniques.

Qualifications

• A strong background in TypeScript and C# with production APIs experience.
• Experience building distributed, event-driven systems on AWS.
• Comfort with dual-stack (TypeScript/JavaScript and C#) backends.
• Familiarity with modern frontend and microfrontend architectures.

Responsibilities

• Identify the right problems to solve across a dual-stack C# and TypeScript backend.
• Implement microfrontend web apps in React and TypeScript with thoughtful component design.
• Own features end-to-end from design to production and delivery.
• Collaborate with product teams and customers to validate problems and solutions.
• Work with AWS services to build scalable, event-driven architecture.
• Use AI coding agents to accelerate delivery and improve code reviews.
• Promote craft, architecture discipline and meaningful pull requests.
