Job summary

1st Central is shaping the future of its core insurance platform with a three-strong Software Engineering team. You’ll design, develop and support features that deliver real value for customers and colleagues within a collaborative Scrum environment.

The role offers flexible hybrid working across Salford Quays (Manchester), Haywards Heath and Guernsey, with monthly in-person collaboration and strong emphasis on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven software development experience in a commercial setting.
• Strong knowledge of Angular, .NET and SQL.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and pair programming.

Responsibilities

• Work within a Scrum team across the full development stack (Angular, .NET, SQL).
• Collaborate to design and deliver solutions for issues and new features.
• Create and maintain unit tests to support code.
• Write clean, scalable, efficient code.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and pair programming.
