Qualifications

• Proven experience in software development.
• Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, Angular, Microsoft .NET)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Experience of SQL writing and general database designs.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Understanding of a service-based approach to technology, including component, service oriented and event driven architectures
• Experience of developing solutions utilising cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of DevOps principles
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Responsibilities

• Work in a Scrum team across the full development stack (Angular, .NET, SQL).
• Collaborate within the scrum team to design and deliver solutions to existing issues and new features.
• Create and maintain unit tests to support the development of your code.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
• Work to the agreed prioritisation of requirements and delivery dates.
• Provide ad-hoc support outside core hours.
• Design and produce supporting documentation for IT.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Actively participate in all agile ceremonies.
• Engage in pair programming to share knowledge and foster team cohesion.
• Mentor peers and encourage open feedback.
• Participate in sprint reviews to demonstrate work and celebrate teamwork.
