Job summary

Brio Digital Limited is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer (React + Python) for a major national public sector programme. The role combines frontend and backend work, with serverless AWS and modern tooling. You will own features from design through deployment and live support, collaborating with client and consultancy engineers.

The position is hybrid in Leeds, offering a true full-stack role with cross-functional impact and opportunities to shape national digital services.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on React development with TypeScript.
• Solid Python experience building production services.
• Experience with Micro Frontends using Module Federation.
• Hands-on AWS cloud services including Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, WAF, DynamoDB and S3.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• CI/CD pipelines with Git and GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain React Micro Frontend applications using Module Federation.
• Design, develop and maintain Python backend services.
• Build and operate cloud-native solutions on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, WAF, DynamoDB, S3).
• Deploy infrastructure and applications using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment.
• Implement automated unit and integration testing and contribute to code quality and security.
• Collaborate with product, architecture and delivery teams to turn requirements into solutions.
