Cox Automotive's NextGear Capital in Chester is seeking a Front-End Risk Account Manager to drive proactive risk management, support dealers and protect business performance. Hybrid role: 3 days in the Chester office, 37.5 hours per week, £34,000.

You’ll assess account health, guide dealers to improve performance and compliance, collaborate with Field Operations on risk strategies, and produce weekly and monthly reports to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit risk, portfolio management, commercial lending, asset finance or B2B account management.
• Experience in automotive finance or secured lending is advantageous.
• Ability to balance customer relationships with credit risk and commercial decisions.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and coach stakeholders.
• Experience working with field-based teams.
• Experience in collections or arrears management is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide dealers to improve performance and compliance.
• Assess account health and take action to protect investment.
• Collaborate with Field Operations on risk mitigation strategies.
• Analyse portfolios to identify exposure and recommend actions.
• Manage non-default accounts and lead effective collection strategies.
• Develop and implement tailored recovery or workout plans.
• Produce accurate weekly and monthly reports.
• Support wider business objectives as required.
