Job summary

Didero is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers, translating complex procurement and operations workflows into reliable backend systems. You will design integrations with ERP platforms, build APIs and data pipelines, and contribute to scalable deployment strategies.

This hands-on role blends engineering with customer collaboration to deliver value. You’ll work across ERP, finance, and operational systems, using Django, Python, and modern web technologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend expertise.
• Solid experience building backend services using Python and Django or comparable technologies.
• Experience designing and building integrations with external systems, APIs, enterprise software, or data pipelines.
• Experience working directly with customers or cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, debugging, and systems architecture.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand procurement, ERP, and operational workflows.
• Design and build integrations with ERP, procurement, finance, and operational systems.
• Build backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and workflow automations.
• Translate ambiguous processes into structured, scalable system designs.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to identify repeatable patterns for the core platform.
