Job summary

Didero is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team. You will work directly with enterprise customers to translate their procurement and operations workflows into reliable, scalable systems.

You’ll design integrations, build backend services, and guide deployments across ERP platforms like NetSuite, SAP, and Microsoft Business Central. The role is hands-on, requiring systems thinking, collaboration with Product and Engineering, and the ability to challenge requirements to

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Strong backend experience with Python and/or Django.
• Experience building integrations with external systems, APIs, or data pipelines.
• Experience working with customers or cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, debugging, and systems architecture.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand procurement, finance, ERP, and operational workflows.
• Clarify requirements and identify underlying business needs rather than blindly implementing requests.
• Design and build integrations with ERP, procurement, finance, and operations systems.
• Build backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and workflow automations.
• Translate ambiguous processes into structured, scalable system designs.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to reuse patterns in the core platform.
• Debug complex integration issues across systems and APIs.
• Support customer discovery, deployment planning, and technical implementation.
• Help define best practices for forward-deployed engineering and integration architecture.
