Sous Chef is seeking an Assistant Buyer & Merchandiser to combine a love of food with strong analytical skills. You’ll work with the Buyer and Founder to discover ingredients, develop own-label ranges and build supplier relationships.

You’ll analyse sales, margins and stock to guide what and how much to buy, and where to improve the range. You don’t need buying experience yet, but curiosity, accuracy and the ability to turn numbers into commercial decisions are essential.

Qualificações

• You have curiosity, accuracy and evidence that you can turn numbers into useful commercial decisions.
• You combine a serious interest in food and cooking with strong analytical skills.
• You’ll analyse sales, margins and stock to decide what to buy and how much to buy.

Responsabilidades

• Discover outstanding products and producers and build supplier relationships.
• Develop new products for Sous Chef, supporting own-label development from idea to finished product.
• Communicate products brilliantly to customers with accurate pricing and complete information.
