Job summary

Aeropeople is recruiting a Fleet Engineering Compliance Monitoring Engineer for a Carterton, Oxfordshire role. The job focuses on regulatory integrity across civil and military approvals, including Part CAMO and Part 145, with hybrid working options.

Reporting to the Fleet Engineering Compliance Monitoring Manager, you will guide audits, authorisations, and governance of engineer licences, mentoring staff and ensuring timely regulatory actions are taken.

Qualifications

• Extensive demonstrable experience in Aviation Maintenance environment.
• Appropriate previous experience in a Quality Assurance / Compliance Monitoring and/or Safety Management role.
• Formal aeronautical maintenance training.
• Appropriate demonstrable ability to conduct audits and produce accurate reports.
• Extensive understanding of CAA Regulatory structure.
• Appropriate previous experience in a position within the approved organisation with appropriate responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex audits within the audit programme; exercise regulatory judgement.
• Audit and approve Line Stations and MROs to enable UK and down-route operations.
• Govern AQD Quality and Safety database; record occurrences, monitor trends, elevate risks.
• Plan, conduct and lead UK CAA Continuous Airworthiness Monitoring, Part 145 and Part CAMO audits.
• Engage in MAA MRP Part 145 audit activity; provide technical and regulatory insight.
• Provide regulatory expertise for line maintenance under 145.A.10; support major maintenance events.
• Govern the Company Authorisation System; chair Authorisation Boards for Licensed Engineers.
• Regulatory evaluations of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance.
• Onboard and mentor new staff into regulatory management system.
• Provide SME input at Aircraft Reliability Meetings and Aircraft Configuration Control Board meetings.
• Support SMS development, safety activities, and Compliance Department training.
