Job summary

EDSB Compliance Solutions is seeking a Hybrid Engineer to service and maintain Fire Extinguishers across a range of clients. The role involves field-based work, with training provided for those new to the Fire Protection and Service industry.

Applicants should be able to work unsupervised, communicate effectively, and uphold high standards. Working hours are 08:30 to 17:00 with a 30 minute lunch break; salary discussed at interview stage.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining fire extinguishers is desirable, but full training will be provided.
• Good communication skills and high attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to work unsupervised with a strong work ethic.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Computer literacy and time management skills are important.
• Self-motivated team player with professionalism and proactiveness.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain Fire Extinguishers across our client base.
• Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance in a timely, cost effective manner.
• Maintain routine maintenance on basic conventional fire alarm systems.
• Perform annual maintenance of emergency lighting systems.
• Manage and secure vehicle stock, tools and equipment.
• Build professional relationships with clients and ensure standards are met.
