Job summary

EDSB Compliance Solutions is seeking a Hybrid Engineer to install, service and maintain Fire Extinguishers for clients across the UK. The role is field-based and includes small works on fire and security systems, with full training provided.

You will manage vehicle stock, tools and documentation, build relationships with clients, and ensure work meets current standards. A full UK driving licence and strong time management are required; a BS7858 DBS check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• No experience is required; full training will be provided.
• Experience maintaining fire extinguishers is desirable but not required.
• Willingness to go the extra mile and work unsupervised.
• Ability to manage time and complete documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain Fire Extinguishers across our client base.
• Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance in a timely, efficient, and cost effective manner.
• Carry out routine maintenance on basic conventional fire alarm systems.
• Carry out annual maintenance of emergency lighting systems.
• Manage and secure vehicle stock, tools and equipment.
• Build professional relationships with clients and ensure standards are met.
• Maintain accurate documentation of works completed.

We are now looking to recruit a Hybrid Engineer who will work across a number of disciplines.The successful applicant will be responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining Fire Extinguishers across a range of clients as well as carrying out small works on fire and security systems. This is a field based full time role.

Working in line with the current standards, the Engineer will also be expected to build professional relationships with our clients.

No experience is necessary, as full training will be provided for the successful candidate. Applications are welcomed from field based Technicians or experienced Extinguisher Technicians currently working within the Fire Protection and Service industry.

This role will include but not limited to the items below:

• Service and maintain Fire Extinguishers across our client base.

• Be responsible for the management and security of vehicle stock, tools and equipment.

Required Skills:

• Previous experience of maintaining fire extinguishers is desirable, however full training will be given.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo BS7858 Employment Screening and an Enhanced DBS check.

Working hours are 08:30 to 17:00 with a 30 minute lunch break. Salary will be discussed at interview stage.
