Job summary

B&D Reside is seeking a Fire Safety Coordinator to join their Fire Safety Team. This role focuses on coordinating fire safety programmes across housing portfolios, monitoring remedial actions, and maintaining compliance records.

The position offers hybrid working between Barking sites and home working, with potential to become permanent. Reporting to the Fire Safety Manager, you will liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of fire safety tasks and data

Qualifications

• Experience in fire safety, building safety, compliance or property management.
• Highly organised and detail-focused with strong administrative skills.
• Experience within a social housing environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor fire safety programme of work and actions.
• Maintain accurate fire safety records and reporting dashboards.
• Support audits, inspections and regulatory reporting with record-keeping.
• Liaise with multiple teams to deliver fire safety measures on time.
• Support resident engagement strategies for higher-risk buildings.
• Assist with incident management and responses to safety incidents.
