Job summary

PropRec Search is supporting a successful international organisation based in Birmingham in recruiting a Financial Reporting Accountant. You will contribute to overhead reporting and work closely with stakeholders across the business.

You will be responsible for month-end and financial reporting, maintaining the general ledger, and supporting budgeting and variance analysis, with a hybrid work arrangement and a salary in the £40k–£55k range.

Qualifications

• Month-end, reconciliations and general ledger experience.
• Experience with preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports focusing on overheads.
• Maintain integrity of the general ledger and perform reconciliations.
• Investigate variances and root causes; liaise with stakeholders.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis across areas of responsibility.
• Provide insight to internal stakeholders and support decision making.
