Job summary

Town & Country Housing is seeking a dedicated Financial Inclusion Advisor to support residents with income maximisation, budgeting and welfare benefits through advice and coordinated referrals.

You will work across teams and partners, maintaining records and delivering a customer-focused service in a hybrid office environment, two days a week in the base office. This role requires strong communication, IT skills, and a commitment to excellent service.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Passion for providing excellent Customer Service.
• Confidence to handle challenging situations with resilience and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents to maximise income and financial wellbeing through advice and onward referrals.
• Support welfare benefit claims, grants and financial support applications, including appeals.
• Maintain accurate case records and performance data; collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Develop partnerships and referral networks to deliver effective, customer-focused financial inclusion services.
