Abercrombie & Kent in Cheltenham is seeking a Management Accountant - Finance Operations to lead a five-person transactional finance team and own accounts payable, bank, credit cards, prepaid cash cards, intercompany reconciliations and financial controls across the A&K, C&K and Crystal brands. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will bridge day-to-day processing and month-end management accounting.

You will support peak periods, audits, and finance transformation projects while ensuring

Formación

• Proven experience managing or supervising a transactional finance or Accounts Payable team.
• Strong ERP literacy (MSBC / Microsoft Business Central) and reporting tools (Prophix) advantageous.
• Excellent reconciliation skills with intercompany and multi-currency experience.
• Travel or tourism industry experience beneficial but not required.
• Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant aiming for CIMA, ACCA, ACA or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and develop a five-strong transactional finance team with regular appraisals.
• Oversee core reconciliations and control of bank, card, prepaid cash cards and intercompany ledgers.
• Manage end-to-end processing of direct cost invoices and supplier payments.
• Run weekly payment cycles and secure final banking approvals.
• Own month-end balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reporting with MSBC/Prophix.
• Support audits, finance transformation projects, and peak period finance activities.
