Job summary

Dennis Eagle in Warrington is recruiting a Finance Apprentice to gain hands-on experience in our busy Finance team while studying toward the Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship. The role blends practical on-site work with college-based study at Warrington & Vale Royal College, following a weekly day-release model.

You will process invoices, support payments, reconcile supplier statements, and assist with reporting, while developing skills in accounting principles, financial processes

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with numbers.
• Clear and professional communication.
• Organised, reliable and eager to learn.
• Works well in a team.
• Experience using Microsoft Office or other digital tools.
• Interested in building a long-term career in accounting and finance.
• GCSE Maths or English (Grade 4 or above).

Responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices and credit notes.
• Support supplier payments and expense administration.
• Reconcile supplier statements and maintain records.
• Respond to finance queries from colleagues and suppliers.
• Maintain financial information and support reporting activities.
• Assist with general office and administrative tasks for the wider finance team.
