Job summary

LSH Auto in Stockport is offering a Level 2 Accounts Assistant Apprentice role, designed to build a finance career with hands-on experience and mentoring. The apprenticeship runs for 1 year, with a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri, 8:00–17:00) and 17,000 pounds per year.

You will train through Swarm Apprenticeships CIC and gain exposure to supplier accounts, reconciliations, journals, and cashflow tasks while studying for the Level 2 qualification. Start date is 24 August 2026.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at C/4 or above.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Motivation to learn accounting and finance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Attend apprenticeship-related courses, meetings with your mentor, and exams.
• Keep your learning journal up to date and submit coursework on time.
• Learn about the hub finance team, shadow central banking, credit control, and purchase ledger.
• Get hands-on experience processing transactions and taking ownership of tasks as directed.
