Job summary

Sonata Software is seeking an experienced Exchange Customer Engineer to lead hybrid messaging and collaboration infrastructure for enterprise environments.

You will administer Exchange Online and On-Premises, design Hybrid configurations, manage DAGs, mail flow, security policies, and migrations, while working closely with identity and security teams. Strong PowerShell automation and English communications are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience.
• Solid Exchange Online and On-Premises experience.
• Proven Exchange Hybrid experience.
• Active SC Security Clearance.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong customer-facing, technical writing, presentation and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Exchange Server 2016/2019 and Exchange Online.
• Design, implement and maintain Exchange Hybrid environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot HCW, hybrid mail flow, and secure mail routing.
• Manage DAG, mailbox databases, transport services, connectors, certificates and virtual directories.
• Troubleshoot mail flow, Autodiscover, Outlook connectivity, mailbox access and authentication issues.
• Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, shared/resource mailboxes, distribution groups and Microsoft 365 Groups.
• Configure mail flow rules, retention, archiving and compliance policies.
• Support Exchange Online Protection and Defender for Office 365.
• Support Exchange migrations between On-Premises and Exchange Online.
• Manage SPF, DKIM and DMARC configurations.
• Use PowerShell for administration and automation.
