Job summary

Spectrum Brands (UK) Limited is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to join the HPC EMEA Commercial Finance team in Manchester. You will partner with Sales, Marketing and Finance to deliver financial insights, support planning and forecasting, and produce profitability reporting for multiple European markets.

You will work onsite three days per week, collaborating with senior stakeholders while maintaining some flexibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Sales Controlling, or related role.
• Finance or business degree; pursuing CIMA/ACCA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good planning, forecasting, reporting and financial performance management.
• Able to translate financial analysis into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience with large datasets and financial reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Marketing and Finance to provide financial insights and decision support.
• Support planning and forecasting with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare sales, gross margin and profitability reporting with commentary.
• Analyze performance, investigate variances and identify risks/opportunities.
• Support customer profitability reviews, commercial initiatives and negotiations.
• Support budgeting, variance analysis and marketing investment governance.
