Job summary

Intec Select Limited is seeking an experienced Network & Systems Engineer to join a leading technology organisation on a hybrid basis in Oxford. The role focuses on enterprise networking across campus, data centre and multi-cloud environments, while also providing broader systems administration support when required.

You will maintain LAN/WLAN, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM; manage firewalls and cloud networking in AWS/GCP; monitor performance and own incidents through to resolution; and contribute

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise network operations and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in LAN/WLAN, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with AWS and/or GCP networking.
• Knowledge of 802.1x, RADIUS and Zero Trust is a plus.
• Arista EOS / CloudVision experience is advantageous.
• Comfortable with Windows/Linux systems administration when needed.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain enterprise LAN/WLAN, DNS, DHCP, VPNs.
• Troubleshoot firewalls and cloud networking across AWS/GCP.
• Monitor network performance and own incidents through to resolution.
• Assist with systems administration tasks and provisioning.
• Maintain network security through policy reviews and best practices.
• Support network design reviews and production transitions.
• Maintain documentation, diagrams, SOPs and runbooks.
