Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Business Systems Analyst - Engineering at all levels to join a growing team. The role focuses on engineering software used across defence, aerospace and engineering, with hybrid UK working and opportunities across the country.

You’ll analyse, develop, maintain and support applications, aligning with strategies and roadmaps while delivering continuous improvement in performance and user experience for engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and maintaining IT or business system solutions.
• Understanding of engineering or technical software environments.
• Familiar with CAD/PLM/CAx domains.

Responsibilities

• Analysing, designing and configuring engineering software applications to meet business and operational needs.
• Delivering application improvements, system changes and project-based enhancements.
• Providing second and third-line application support, helping to maintain system reliability, performance and availability.
• Working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements into effective solutions.
• Ensuring applications and solutions align with defined strategies, roadmaps and architectural principles.
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and the overall user experience.
• Collaborating with colleagues and technical specialists to resolve complex issues and deliver continuous improvement.
