Babcock in the UK is seeking Business Systems Analysts – Engineering at all levels to join our expanding digital engineering team. This hybrid role supports engineering software across defence, aerospace and engineering, delivering analysis, design, configuration, and improvements to critical applications.

You’ll work with stakeholders to translate needs into solutions, provide 2nd/3rd line support, and contribute to roadmaps and architectural principles, with opportunities for level-based

Qualifications

• Experience managing and maintaining IT or business system solutions
• Understanding of engineering or technical software environments
• Basic knowledge of CAD, PLM, CAM, Design Analysis, or ILS
• Experience working within a structured IT or digital delivery environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Analysing, designing and configuring engineering software applications to meet business and operational needs
• Delivering application improvements, system changes and project-based enhancements
• Providing second and third-line application support, helping to maintain system reliability, performance and availability
• Working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements into effective solutions
• Ensuring applications and solutions align with defined strategies, roadmaps and architectural principles
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and the overall user experience
• Collaborating with colleagues and technical specialists to resolve complex issues and deliver continuous improvement
