Job summary

Triple Point Energy is seeking an Investment Associate to join the energy transition investment team on a contract basis, with options for full-time or part-time work. The role focuses on evaluating renewable and storage project investments, building detailed financial models, and supporting investment proposals and committees.

Qualifications

• Proven relevant experience in energy transition investments.
• Strong financial modelling and analysis capabilities including debt/project finance structures.
• Knowledge of renewables and energy storage assets in UK/Europe is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating new potential investments based on investment analysis and sector dynamics.
• Building financial models including project finance/debt structures.
• Review and analysis of target financial statements and forecasts.
• Drafting investment proposals and investment committee presentations with input from investment directors.
• Understand and optimize project contractual structures from a financial perspective.
• Research sectors or market segments to identify investment opportunities.
• Support transaction administration and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
