Job summary

A leading bank in Chester is seeking an Endpoint Security Engineer to bolster their global security operations on a stateless VDI platform. You will design advanced endpoint protections, support migrations, and partner with compliance, audit, and security teams.

Hybrid role based in Chester, three days in office. The position focuses on vulnerability management, EDR, and robust security documentation to enable secure desktop delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in endpoint security engineering and migrations.
• Security for stateless VDI platforms with app delivery and compliance.
• Knowledge of endpoint privilege management and application control.
• Strong Windows OS expertise and problem solving.
• Familiarity with Splunk or Power BI for analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement endpoint security solutions for a mature VDI platform.
• Support a major cloud migration programme and security baselines.
• Deploy security tooling via ITSM processes and produce documentation.
• Collaborate with compliance, audit, and information security teams.
• Respond to incidents and harden non-persistent desktops.
