Job summary

Aberdeen City Council is recruiting for a hybrid, fixed-term Employability role within ABZWorks at Marischal College. The post supports residents to access training and services, delivering person-centred employability activities in 1:1 or small group settings.

We require experience in employability work, adult learning or youth work, and PVG membership (or commitment to obtain before offer). The role is part-time until 31 March 2026, with flexible working options and a strong focus on

Qualifications

• Experience of working in an employability environment.
• Adult Learning and/or Youth Work Experience.
• PVG Membership for Regulated Work with Children and Protected Adults, or willingness to obtain prior to a formal offer of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide employability support to individuals on a 1:2:1 basis or in small groups to access training and services.
• Work in partnership with other Council services and partner agencies.
• Contribute to delivering effective employability initiatives and reporting.
