Job summary

Skilled Careers Recruitment partners with an independent, employee-owned building services consultancy to recruit an Intermediate Electrical Engineer for either Croydon or Central London (Hybrid). The role involves surveys, design calculations, CAD/Revit modelling and feasibility studies, with a clear path to Senior Electrical Engineer.

Qualifications

• A degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• UK building services consultancy experience.
• Experience with Amtech, Dialux, ElectricalOM, AutoCAD or Revit.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations and the British Standards that apply.

Responsibilities

• Surveys, design calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports.
• Cable sizing, lighting calcs and equipment selections (ElectricalOM, Dialux).
• Marked-up drawings for CAD, or modelling directly in CAD/Revit.
• Feasibility studies, condition surveys and engineering assessments.
• Design meetings, tender evaluations, site meetings, snagging and practical completion.
• Input on decarbonisation, Net Zero, TM54 and TM65.
