Job summary

Civic in the UK is seeking an Intermediate/Design Engineer to contribute to building projects across the UK, focusing on electrical and building services MEP. You will provide design input, calculations, and drawings under supervision, coordinating with architects and other engineers.

The role offers hybrid working with studio presence and a strong commitment to sustainable design, DEI, and high-quality deliverables across private and public sector projects.

Qualifications

• Experienced electrical engineer with knowledge of Building Services MEP.
• Ability to produce coordinated designs and drawings.
• Familiar with industry codes and regulations (IEEE, NEC, IEC).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering design, analysis, input for electrical systems.
• Prepare calculations, cost estimates and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and contractors.
• Produce technical reports and tenders under supervision.
