Job summary

Career Legal is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Project Manager in London to lead end-to-end eDiscovery projects, DSARs, and regulatory tasks within the Data Privacy and eDiscovery function.

You will coordinate with fee-earning teams across Litigation, Employment, and Dispute Resolution, providing guidance on best practices and managing vendors and platforms to ensure defensible workflows.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in eDiscovery project management within a law firm, legal services provider, or corporate legal department.
• Strong working knowledge of eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, Nuix, Concordance or similar tools.
• Understanding of the litigation lifecycle, disclosure obligations under Civil Procedure Rules, and data protection legislation (UK GDPR & DP Act 2018).
• Experience managing data collection, processing, review and production workflows.
• Excellent project management and multitasking skills with strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end eDiscovery projects including scoping, data collection, processing, review and production.
• Collaborate with Litigation, Employment, Dispute Resolution, and Corporate teams to support disputes and investigations.
• Advise stakeholders on best practices, technology solutions and defensible workflows.
• Support selection and management of eDiscovery platforms and tools.
• Coordinate data collection and preservation with IT, Information Security and matter teams.
• Develop eDiscovery workflows and quality control procedures.
• Provide training on eDiscovery processes and tools to fee earners and staff.
• Assist with DSARs, file reviews, regulatory matters, and vendor relationships.
• Monitor budgets and timelines, escalating issues as needed.
• Stay updated on eDiscovery tech and regulatory developments.
