Job summary

Acorn Training in South Yorkshire is seeking an Early Years Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching, training, coaching, and assessment across diverse Early Years programmes for adult learners and Skills Bootcamps.

The postholder will plan and deliver sessions, assess learners, work with employers to create learning plans, and support progression while adhering to sector standards and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Level 5 in subject sector specialism is essential.
• Level 3 CAVA or equivalent required.
• Level 3 AET or equivalent required.
• GCSE English and Maths (A*-C) required.
• Valid driving licence and access to vehicle for travel.
• BA in subject sector (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Early Years teaching, training, coaching, and assessment.
• Plan, deliver, assess, and support learners across varied delivery models.
• Perform initial assessments and create personalised learning plans.
• Collaborate with employers to align training with sector standards.
• Maintain learner records and manage progression with safeguarding compliance.
