Job summary

Capital One in the United Kingdom is looking for a Lead Digital Product Manager to drive discovery and definition of digital product investments. You will collaborate with engineering, design and delivery teams, shaping strategy to deliver measurable business value.

The role is based in Nottingham or London with a hybrid work approach, three days in the office (Tue-Thu) and home on Mon and Fri. You will work to understand consumer and business needs and translate them into customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated industry with in-market results.
• Ability to conceptualise complex problems and align long-term product strategy with iterative execution.
• Exceptional communication and partnership skills, with the ability to build trust and align cross-functional teams.
• Distill complex inputs across customer, business, data and technology into clear, commercially backed recommendations.
• Appreciate architectural and technology trade-offs when making decisions.
• Hands-on experience leading cross-functional teams in agile, test-and-learn environments.

Responsibilities

• Go deep on complex initiatives, leading discovery and definition of new digital products.
• Lead collaboration across engineering, design and delivery teams, setting direction and momentum.
• Be passionate about how consumer credit works to disrupt it from the inside out.
• Partner with engineering teams to challenge and champion technical choices enabling value delivery and modernisation.
• Incorporate business analytics and operational excellence in product design and development, defining success metrics.
• Maintain a human-centred approach by understanding internal and external customer needs to reimagine outcomes, informing stakeholders with data-backed communication.
