Placements24 in East London is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with a blockchain focus to join our team. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure with IaC, and manage cloud platforms.

The role emphasizes security, reliability, and scalable deployments for cutting-edge blockchain products. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in DevOps, strong scripting (Python/Bash), and hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years in DevOps or Systems Engineering focusing on cloud environments.
• Proficient with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Hands-on with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with blockchain tech and smart contracts is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for blockchain apps.
• Automate provisioning and deployment using IaC tools.
• Monitor performance, availability, and security; respond to incidents.
