Job summary

Strathmore Foods Ltd is seeking an experienced Development Chef or Culinary Consultant to support our NPD team on two bespoke product development projects. The role combines culinary creativity with scale-up know-how, focusing on turning concepts into production-ready recipes and trials at our Forfar site, with possible hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Professional chef with strong recipe development skills.
• Ability to adapt kitchen recipes for large-scale production.
• Commercial awareness of ingredients, costs, yields and consistency.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, foodservice or airline product development.
• Strong food safety knowledge and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead recipe development from concept through kitchen and factory trials.
