Job summary
b3 jobs ltd is seeking an NPD Chef to drive development from concept to launch in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will work with customers and suppliers, translating culinary ideas into scalable products and leading cross-functional teams.
The role requires 4+ years of culinary experience, a relevant degree, and strong knowledge of scaling recipes and regulatory considerations. A Monday–Friday schedule with travel, pension, and bonus is available.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional culinary experience in food manufacturing, product development
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Experience scaling recipes from small batches to industrial production
- Understanding of functional ingredients and food safety/regulatory considerations
Responsibilities
- Mentor kitchen and culinary staff; help build innovation processes
- Present concepts and tastings to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Lead end-to-end development from concept through to pilot and full-scale manufacturing
- Assist with customer product presentations
- Collaborate with suppliers and production teams to ensure scalability
- Stay current with culinary and ingredient trends across sectors
