Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Design Manager – Architecture & Engineering to lead complex design delivery across multiple sectors from our UK offices with hybrid working in Newark, Birmingham or London.

You will oversee programmes, manage resources and ensure outputs meet client requirements, while coordinating information, contracts, and commercial aspects to deliver projects on time and to budget.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in design management within construction.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of architectural and engineering design services across a diverse project portfolio.
• Oversee project delivery programmes and resource levels to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate project information through structured protocols and manage deliverables to programme.
• Support commercial management activities including scope variations, fee claims, and payment applications.
• Establish and manage sub-consultant contracts and monitor change logs to maintain execution quality.
